Academics

What do the Academics represent at our school?

Elementary | Grades Pre-K to 5th
principal: Holly Hamilton

At Azle Christian School, we’re passionate about giving kids a strong start in learning. Our program combines solid academics with Biblical truths woven into every subject, helping students see how faith connects with everyday life. We also focus on building character and encouraging healthy friendships, so children grow not just in knowledge but in kindness, respect, and confidence. By blending great teaching with a caring environment, we help students thrive—academically, spiritually, and socially.

Middle school | Grades 6th to 8th
Principal: Angela Holt

At ACS, we believe that academic excellence and a strong Christian foundation go hand-in-hand. Our middle school program, serving grades 6-8, is designed to challenge and prepare students for a future of advanced learning. We foster a culture of high achievement with a curriculum that pushes students to reach their full potential.
Our rigorous academics include an emphasis on language arts, with students engaging in novel studies to deepen their comprehension, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature. Our advanced math track is also a key part of this commitment: all 7th graders take Pre-Algebra and all 8th graders take Algebra, setting a strong foundation for future high school and college-level mathematics.
Beyond our core subjects, we integrate our faith into daily life. Students attend Bible class daily and participate in weekly chapel, ensuring a balanced education that nurtures both the mind and the spirit.

High School | Grades 9th - 12th
Principal: Angela Holt

At ACS, our high school program is dedicated to providing a rigorous academic experience rooted in a Biblical worldview. We prepare students for college and beyond, fostering intellectual curiosity and spiritual growth.
Our curriculum challenges students to think critically and engage deeply with their faith. This includes a unique focus on Apologetics, which equips students to understand and defend their beliefs. Our robust Bible studies and a dedicated Israel course provide a rich understanding of biblical history and its real-world context. To prepare students for  higher education and beyond, we offer statistics, forensics, and media classes.
For high-achieving students, we offer dual credit classes in partnership with local colleges, allowing them to earn college credit while still in high school. We believe in nurturing a "servant's heart" in our students, which is why we encourage participation in our Christian Honor Society and Student Council. These organizations empower students to lead and serve both our school and the wider community.
