senior pastor- mike miles

Pastor Mike and Mrs. Beverly were both raised in Pastor’s homes. Pastor was raised in the home of Rev. G.D. and June Miles who pastored for over 35 years, the last 10 here at The Church at Azle as Co-Pastor. Mrs. Bev was raised in the home of Evangelist Bobby and Delores Miller. They travelled and sang bluegrass gospel music. It just so happened that they travelled and sang at Pastor Mike’s father’s church in Smithfield, Texas. The rest is history. Pastor and Mrs. Bev also travelled with Bobby until April was born. After that the Miles family travelled in evangelism for a few years before becoming the interim Pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church in Azle. After 6 months, the Miles family again travelled in evangelism, pastored several other churches and served as a Christian school administrator.
On the last Sunday of December 1996, Rev. G.D. Miles and Pastor Mike Miles accepted the call to become Co-Pastors of The Trinity Baptist Church. There were 7 people in attendance. Brother Dwight Miles went home to be with Jesus on January 27, 2011. In March of 2003, after purchasing the property at 1800 South Stewart, the church built a new 28,000 square feet building and moved into the new location in August 2003 at which time the name was changed to The Church At Azle. Pastor Mike still serves as the Senior Pastor of the church. Pastor has a Master’s Degree from Louisiana Baptist University. Pastor Mike and Mrs. Bev have 4 children; April, Michael Jr, Matthew and Mackenzie, and 10 grandchildren.

lead pastor- chad geeslin

Chad Geeslin is the Lead Pastor here at The Church at Azle . He has been serving at TCAA since 2003. He served as the youth pastor for over 12 years before being called to lead the staff and congregation of TCAA in 2016. Chad is a visionary leader, and he is excited to lead TCAA into its next season. He has been married to April Geeslin since 2003 and they have two amazing daughters. They currently live in Springtown, Texas.

campus pastor- jonny tucker

An alumnus of Azle Christian School, Jonathan Tucker brings a deep-rooted passion for the ACS community and over a decade of dedicated service in Christian education, having served as an educator since 2014.

In his role as Campus Pastor, Jonathan teaches secondary Bible courses, discipling students to build a firm, Christ-centered foundation. He oversees the weekly chapel services, coordinates the student Bible conference and Spiritual Emphasis Week, and leads the annual student mission trip, equipping young leaders to live out their faith both locally and globally. Additionally, Jonathan serves as the school’s Licensed Athletic Trainer, applying his expertise to safeguard student-athletes and support their physical well-being. His unique dual role allows him to invest in students spiritually, academically, and athletically, continuing the legacy of faith and excellence that defined his own time as an ACS student.

head of school- april geeslin

April is the daughter of Pastor Mike and Beverly Miles. She is the oldest of 4 children. She has served in various roles within the church since a young girl. She began serving on the worship team in high school and has served as the Worship Pastor at The Church at Azle for over 15 years.
April has been married to lead Pastor Chad Geeslin since 2003 and they have 2 daughters, Laney and Addison. Together, April and Chad take a servant leader approach within the ministry. You can often find them both volunteering in various roles within the church and community.
April has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the Lamar University. She also serves as the Head of School at Azle Christian School.
April loves to read, go antiquing, spend time outside and be with her family.

elementary principal- holly hamilton

Holly Hamilton has dedicated 20 years to the field of education. She began her career with Azle ISD, where she spent 10 years teaching kindergarten and first grade. In 2017, the Lord led Holly to Azle Christian School (ACS), where she served as a classroom teacher for four years before stepping into her current role as Elementary Principal. Holly holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree from Western Governors University.
Holly and her husband have been married for 21 years and are blessed with two children. Their son graduated from ACS in 2024, and their daughter is currently a sophomore at ACS. The Hamilton family attend The Church at Azle, where they are actively involved and faithfully serve in various areas of ministry.

athletic director- dusty miles

Dusty has been married to his wife, Britney, for nearly 11 years. Britney also serves as the front office secretary at ACS. Together, they have three daughters who attend ACS: Audrie, Collins, and Elliott.
Dusty graduated from Springtown High School, where he played football, baseball, and ran track. He continued his athletic career at Tarleton State University, playing four years of college baseball while earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
Outside of work, Dusty enjoys golfing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family. He believes athletics play a vital role in developing character, leadership, discipline, and lifelong skills.
Dusty is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the ACS family and to contribute to the continued success of its students and athletic program. He looks forward to building relationships with students, families, coaches, and staff as they work together to create an exceptional athletic experience for all ACS athletes.
